US Economic Growth in Second Quarter Beats Expectations

The U.S. economy grew at a faster pace in the second quarter than first thought. The Commerce Department says the country’s gross domestic output increased at an annual rate of 2.5 percent from April to June - a marked improvement from the initial estimate of 1.7 percent.
