Cleaning it Up, Without Blowing Up (VOA On Assignment Nov. 8) - Workers at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan are about to embark on one of the most critical aspects of the clean-up: removing the fuel rods from one of the worst-hit reactors. Critics say that the plant’s owners should not be trusted to carry out the operation - and warn of dire consequences of an accident. VOA’s Henry Ridgwell explains.
