UN Youth Outreach Aims to Prevent Radicalization

In the global fight against violent extremism, the U.N. Security Council has tried to stem the flow of funds to terrorists, authorized airstrikes and other military operations against them, and imposed sanctions. On Wednesday, the council took a new approach: looking at ways to prevent youths from being recruited by these dark, dangerous groups. VOA’s Margaret Besheer reports.
