South Sudan and U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee


VOA’s Vincent Makori reports that the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding a hearing Thursday, on South Sudan and its current state of failed leadership. Among the people testifying at the proceeding are State Department Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan Donald Booth, former Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan Princeton Lyman and Adotei Akwei, managing director of government relations at Amnesty International USA. Senator Bob Corker, of Tennessee, had these early remarks.
