At least 28 people are dead and more than 100 wounded after a stabbing rampage in China.
Unidentified men dressed in black carried out the assault in a train station in the southern city of Kunming.
Official Chinese media call the attack an organized and premeditated act of terrorism.
Police shot five of the attackers to death. It is unclear if any were captured. Pictures from the scene show bloody bodies scattered across the floor.
Witnesses say the the attackers simply ran into the station and started stabbing people.
No one has claimed responsibility and the motive is unknown.
China has blamed previous terror attacks against civilians on those it calls Islamic extremist separatists from the far western Xinjiang province.
