Officials in northwestern Pakistan say a bomb blast has killed at least 33 people and wounded 70 in central Peshawar.
Police say the remote-controlled bomb was placed in a car parked in the city's oldest bazaar.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.
Authorities say the car bomb exploded Sunday near a police station, not far from the Christian church that was attacked by two suicide bombers a week ago. That blast killed more than 80 people and wounded 120 others. The latest explosion was felt inside the church, frightening worshipers.
