An Arabic television network says it has received a video showing militants in Iraq killing two Macedonian hostages accused of spying for the United States.
The al-Jazeera network said it received the video Monday, and said it was accompanied by a statement from a group calling itself the Islamic Army in Iraq.
The network aired part of the video showing the two hostages alive. But it did not show the alleged executions and did not name the victims. There has been no independent confirmation of the deaths.
Three Macedonian contractors were kidnapped in Iraq in August.
