The Palestinian militant group Hamas says it has killed a young Palestinian man accused of passing information to Israel that resulted in the assassination of the group's founder and nine other members.
The body of Hassan Musallam, who had been missing from his Gaza home for some time, was found shot and dumped in a Gaza street Saturday.
A Hamas spokesman said his killing is a warning to others who might consider cooperating with Israel, the group's sworn enemy.
Hamas says the young man provided Israeli intelligence services with information that allowed Israel to kill the group's wheelchair bound spiritual leader, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, in a helicopter strike last March.
