President Bush and members of the Irish rock group U2 are among those gathering in Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday, as former President Bill Clinton officially opens his presidential library.
At least 30,000 people - including former presidents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush - are expected to be on hand for the ceremonial start of the $165 million Clinton Presidential Center.
The center contains a museum for visitors and a library that holds some 100 million paper and electronic documents related to the Clinton White House.
The museum covers the highlights of Mr. Clinton's presidency - such as his Middle East peacemaking efforts - and the lowlights, including his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky and his 1999 impeachment by Congress.
The museum opens to the public Friday.
