Grizzlies Win 5th Straight in NBA Action

In National Basketball Association action Thursday, the Memphis Grizzlies won their fifth straight game, downing the Pistons in Detroit, 101-79. Bonzi Wells led Memphis with 23 points.

In Washington, six players scored in double figures as the Wizards beat the Seattle SuperSonics, 107-96. Gilbert Arenas scored 27 points and Larry Hughes added 21 for Washington.

Tim Duncan had 27 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 111-98 win over the Indiana Pacers.
