Pakistan's Cricket Captain to Pass Milestone in Number of Matches Played

Pakistani cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq will pass a career milestone in Bangalore, India, Thursday when he takes the field for his 100th test match.

Inzamam has been one of Pakistan's most consistent scorers, amassing more than 7,200 runs in his career - including centuries in 99 test matches.

Only three other Pakistani players - Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, and Salim Malik - have played in 100 or more test matches. Miandad is the most prolific test player for Pakistan, with 124 test matches in his career.

Inzamam and the rest of the Pakistani team are hoping for a better conclusion to the third test than the previous two matches - the first test was a draw and India won the second test by 195 runs.

This tour is Pakistan's first trip to India in six years. Six one-day international matches are also on the schedule.
