Singapore and Panama Reach Free Trade Agreement


Singapore and Panama have successfully concluded talks on a free trade agreement.

Singapore's trade ministry said Friday that the agreement is undergoing a final legal review, after which it will be ratified and signed.

Under the agreement, Panama and Singapore will enjoy greater access to each other's markets. The deal includes chapters on investment, customs procedures, government procurement, financial services and telecommunications.
