Honduran President Unhurt in Plane Crash

Honduras' President Ricardo Maduro has escaped injury after the plane he was in crashed into the sea off the country's northern coast.

The small plane crashed in the Caribbean Sea Sunday near the resort town of Tela. Reports say the propeller-driven plane's engine died as it tried to make a forced landing.

Presidential spokesman Jorge Barrios said Mr. Maduro, his daughter Lorena and the pilot were unharmed in the crash.
