Detroit, Seattle Even Their NBA Playoff Series

The defending National Basketball Association champion Detroit Pistons have evened their playoff series with the Indiana Pacers. Detroit's 89-76 victory on the road Sunday puts the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series at two games each.

Chauncey Billups poured in 29 points and Rasheed Wallace contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds as Detroit returns home Tuesday for Game Five.

In Seattle, Ray Allen scored 32 points to lead the host SuperSonics past the San Antonio Spurs, 101-89. Seattle led the entire game to capture its second straight win and even the best-of-seven Western Conference series at two games apiece. Game Five is Tuesday in San Antonio.

The Phoenix Suns visit the Dallas Mavericks in a late game. Phoenix has a 2-1 series lead.
