Pope Benedict's first book containing statements issued since he assumed the papacy in April has gone on sale at the Vatican Tuesday.
The book, God's Revolution, includes the speeches to young people he delivered during the Catholic Church's World Youth Day in Cologne, Germany, in August. It also contains his speeches to Muslim leaders, the Jewish community and Christian representatives with whom he met during his first foreign trip as pope.
The book, issued by the Vatican and the Edizione San Paolo publishing house, sells for about $11 and will be available in 18 countries in the next few weeks.
The publishers also released in June a book that contained some of his writings before his election to the papacy, while he was still Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.
