An Azerbaijani passenger plane with 23 people on board has crashed outside the capital Baku. Officials say they do not believe there were any survivors.
Azerbaijani authorities say the plane disappeared from radar shortly after takeoff from Baku Friday. There were 18 passengers and five crew members on board.
The plane, a twin-propeller Antonov An-140, was headed across the Caspian Sea to the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
