One lottery ticket sold in the central United States is now worth $365 million.
Officials with the Powerball contest said Sunday that only one winning ticket was sold before Saturday's draw for the record-setting jackpot.
They did not say if the winner in the state of Nebraska had stepped forward to claim the prize.
People stood in long lines last week to buy their tickets for a chance to win the largest jackpot in U.S. history. The previous record was a prize of $340 million awarded last year.
Powerball is played in 28 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
