Indian police say nine people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a series of deadly grenade attacks Friday in Indian Kashmir.
The attacks in Srinagar killed five people and wounded about 40 others.
Police say the nine suspects are affiliated with the banned Jaish-e-Mohammad militant group.
Several Islamic militant groups have been fighting since 1989 for Indian Kashmir's independence or merger with Pakistan. The violence has claimed tens of thousands of lives.
