Brazil Scores 3-0 Win Over Ghana at World Cup

update

Ronaldo scored early and Adriano and Ze Roberto have added goals to give Brazil a 3-0 win over Ghana at their World Cup football match in Dortmund, Germany.

Ronaldo got a perfect through-pass from Kaka in the fifth minute Tuesday and guided the ball into the net with his right foot. It was his record-setting 15th World Cup goal making him the tournament's all-time leading scorer.

Adriano made it 2-0 for Brazil with a controversial close range tap-in in first half injury time, in what appeared to be an offside goal play on television replays.

Ze Roberto added the final score in the 84th minute, as he tipped the ball past the keeper at the edge of the box and nudged it into an open net. Ghana finished the match with 10 men after Asamoah Gyan was sent off in the 81st minute for his second yellow card.

Brazil advances to the quarterfinals where it will play the winner of the final second round match, an all-European duel between Spain and France in Hanover.
