Landslide In Nepal Kills 17 Villagers, 13 Others Missing

A landslide has killed at least 17 people in northwestern Nepal. Another 13 people are missing.

Authorities say a wall of mud Saturday swept over seven homes in a village about 125 kilometers west of the capital, Kathmandu.

Officials say monsoon rain and flooding caused the pre-dawn landslide.

Rescue workers spent the day searching for the missing villagers.
