Indian Kashmir: 5 Wounded in Grenade Attack

Indian police say suspected rebels have triggered a grenade blast in Indian Kashmir, wounding at least five civilians.

Police say the suspects hurled a grenade at a bus stand in Narbal Tuesday.

It is unclear who the attackers were.

Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan and is claimed in full by both.

Several militant groups have been battling Indian security forces for nearly two decades in a fight for independence for Kashmir, or its merger with neighboring Pakistan.
