The Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals remain undefeated in the young U.S. National Football League season. Each team has won its first two games by convincing margins.
The Bears had little trouble Sunday with the Detroit Lions, 34-7. Baltimore handed the Oakland Raiders their second straight loss, 28-6. Indianapolis defeated the Houston Texans, 43-24. Cincinnati was a 34-17 winner over the Cleveland Browns.
Three games ended in overtime. The Minnesota Vikings kicked a field goal to edge the Carolina Panthers, 16-13. The New York Giants came from 17 points behind to tie Philadelphia and then beat the Eagles, 30-24. The Denver Broncos topped the Kansas City Chiefs, 9-6.
The Dallas Cowboys beat their arch-rival Washington Redskins, 27-10.
The Buffalo Bills upset the Miami Dolphins, 16-6. Strong pre-season hopes for Miami have now dissolved to an 0-2 start.
