Brazilian officials say a Gol airlines plane with 155 people on board is missing over the Brazilian Amazon after colliding with a smaller executive jet.
Authorities say Gol Flight 1907 disappeared from radar Friday after leaving the city of Manaus in the heart of the Amazon rain forest for the Brazilian capital, Brasilia.
News reports say the smaller jet was able to land after the collision with the Gol plane.
Authorities say air force planes are searching through the night for any trace of the missing Boeing 737.
