Harry Potter Hopes to Enchant Theme Park Visitors

update

Harry Potter, the fictional young wizard who is the hero of best-selling books and movies, is getting his own theme park in Florida.

The Warner Brothers movie company, which has sold billions of dollars worth of tickets to various Harry Potter films, is teaming up with Universal's Orlando, Florida resort in a deal they hope will enchant visitors.

The park is supposed to look like the castle, magical town, and creepy (frightening) woods featured in the movies.

Fictional wizard Harry Potter rides a magical flying broom in a sometimes terrifying fashion. The new park features various kinds of rides, though they probably will not be quite as astonishing as Potter's flying games.

Author J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books have sold 325 million copies in 65 languages around the world.

The park is supposed to open in 2009.
