Windies 96-4 on Day 3 of 2nd Test v South Africa

The West Indies cricket team reached 96-4 in its second innings by the end of the third day of their second test match against South Africa in Cape Town Friday.

Denesh Ramdin led the Caribbean squad with 32 runs, while Daren Ganga added another 22 runs before the close of play Friday.

The West Indies has a lead of 18 runs after scoring 243 runs in its first innings. South Africa had responded with 321 all out in 118.2 overs.

Ashwell Prince led the home side with 98 runs before being run out. South Africa's Mark Boucher had 59 and Jacques Kallis added another 36 runs. Prince batted for five hours, facing 225 balls and hitting 11 fours in his time at the crease.

The West Indians won the first match of the three-match series in Port Elizabeth by 128 runs. The win was their first in South Africa and their first significant road win since 2000.

The third test begins January 10th in Durban. The two sides also will play five one-day international matches beginning January 20th in Centurion.
