LeBron James had 50 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 119-105 win over the New York Knicks in National Basketball Association action Wednesday.
James made 16 of 30 shots, including seven from three-point range, in his second 50 point outburst this season.
In Houston, the Rockets cruised to their 16th straight win with a 117-99 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Tracy McGrady scored 25 points for the Rockets, who are 4-0 since losing star center Yao Ming for the season with a foot injury.
The Boston Celtics became the first team to clinch a playoff berth, after a 90-78 win over the Detroit Pistons. Kevin Garnett scored a season high 31 points in the win.
