US Company Produces Guides to Communicate Without Words

A Washington D.C.-area company has built a profitable business by producing durable pocket guides that help people communicate using visual images rather than spoken language. International travelers have been using such guides for years - to navigate their way through restaurants, airports, and local markets.

But now as, VOA's George Dwyer reports, these graphic communication guides are being put to a growing variety of new uses, including some designed to save lives. Jim Bertel narrates.
