EPA's Science Forum Focuses on Green Technology


Environmental groups have often clashed with the Bush administration over enforcement of clean air and water laws. In fact, last year they won a Supreme Court ruling compelling regulation of greenhouse gas emissions. The White House has touted investment in new green technology, and the marketplace, as the best ways to address challenges like global warming. This week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gathered together scientists, investors and industry to show off what they say are key innovative technologies in the environmental effort. VOA producer Zulima Palacio prepared the story. Jeff Swicord narrates.
