US Reopens Bidding on Contract for Midair Tanker

The US military is reopening bidding on a disputed $35-billion contract for a midair refueling tanker. The Pentagon says replacing the aging fleet is a priority. On Wednesday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said his office would oversee the competition instead of the Air Force. The action reignites the controversy surrounding one of the Pentagon's biggest purchases. VOA's Deborah Block reports.
