Study Urges Revised Treatment for Traumatic Brain Injuries


Traumatic brain injuries can be caused by a variety of things: automobile and motorcycle accidents, sports injuries, wartime explosions or even simple falls at home. They are a leading cause of death worldwide. But when patients are rushed to the hospital and must be treated quickly.

Standard treatment involves nutrition. But a new study shows the sooner the patient receives a nutritional supplement, the greater the chances of survival.
