Residents Turn to Inner City Gardens to Save on High Transport Costs


As transportation costs increase due to the high price of fuel, locally grown food is gaining popularity. In the U.S. capital city, Washington DC, a small group of people is finding a way to use vacant lots for food production and nourish the community at the same time.
