South Asia Gets Top Priority in Obama Foreign Policy


Obama administration officials have clearly signaled a shift in the U.S. foreign policy agenda.

They say President Barack Obama will focus more on South Asia than on Iraq.

As tensions and terrorism rise, the new president's special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke, will visit the region next week.
