Bomb in Baghdad Kills 7

Iraqi officials say a bomb blast in Baghdad killed at least seven people and wounded 24 others.

Police say someone planted the bomb under a minibus early Monday in Abu Dsheer, a Shi'ite enclave in the mainly Sunni Dora district. No one has claimed responsibility for the assault.

Bombings are regular occurrences in Iraq, but overall violence has sharply declined in recent months.

American forces plan to pull back from cities by the end of this month, and from the rest of the country by the end of 2011.

Some information for this report was provided by AP and Reuters.
