In those years when it was booming, the information technology industry made many computer-literate young people wealthy overnight. The boom lured many of these new millionaires to the west coast city of San Francisco, California. With their arrival, San Francisco changed from an easy-going, progressively liberal city to a place where money ruled, greed was rampant and inconsideration and arrogance typical.
Then the crash came and it changed San Francisco yet again. From San Francisco, Jan Sluizer reports.
