Dateline: Dinosaurs - 2001-08-16

The popularity of action-adventure films like Jurassic Park: The Lost World, owe their ticket sales to the presence of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs, who ruled the Earth hundreds of millions of years ago, were brought to life by cutting-edge computer animation and realistic digital graphics.

The U.S.-based Discovery Channel recently aired such a program called "When Dinosaurs Roamed America." It showed life on the North American continent in the age of the giant reptiles. The show even premiered two new species of dinosaurs which were discovered by the show's experts.
