Dateline: Missing Migrants - 2001-09-04

Every year thousands of Central Americans try to make the illegal journey to the United States in search of work. But the journey is fraught with danger and many of them perish along the way or lose contact with their families.

A growing number of people on both sides of the border are trying to help the migrants who brave the journey to El Norte, the term used for the United States, throughout Central America.

On this edition of Dateline, Neal Lavon examines the problem of "Missing Migrants."
