The US House of Representatives has passed legislation aimed at promoting democratic change and economic recovery in Zimbabwe. The vote was 395 to 11. The measure has already been approved by the Senate and now goes to President Bush for his signature. The bill was managed on the House floor by US Congressman Ed Royce. He told reporter Josephine Kamara why the House is concerned about recent developments in Zimbabwe.
