Two-time U.S. Open golf champion Ernie Els of South Africa has an eight-stroke lead over Australian Peter Lonard and world number one Tiger Woods headed into the final round of the Genuity Championships tournament at Miami, Florida.
Els fired a six-under-par, 66 in his third round and is at 17 under par, 199 headed into the final round. Lonard and Woods both shot two-under-par, 70s on the par 72 Doral Golf Resort course. Both are at nine-under-par, 207 for three rounds.
Former Masters champion Vijay Singh and former British Open winner Justin Leonard of the United States are part of a four-way tie for fourth place at seven under par 209.
