Nomar Garciaparra hit three home runs in two innings to help power the Boston Red Sox to a whopping 22-4 win over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in Major League baseball action Tuesday. Manny Ramirez hit a pair of home runs for Boston in the first game of a double-header. In the second game the Devil Rays rallied for five runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Red Sox by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Atlanta Braves Pitcher Tom Glavine surpassed Whitey Ford in all-time wins on Tuesday, picking up his 237th victory. He now ranks 50th in career wins. Atlanta defeated the Florida Marlins 5-3.
