Schumachers to Head Field at German Grand Prix

Five-time Formula One driving champion Michael Schumacher and his younger brother Ralf will share the front row in Sunday's running of the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.

Michael Schumacher won the pole in a Ferrari, his first at the German track, by covering the four and one-half kilometer course in 1:14.389. Ralf Schumacher of Williams-BMW was second fastest, less than two-10ths of one second back.

Brazilian Rubens Barrichello had the third fastest time in a Ferrari while Juan Pablo Montoya of Colombia finished with the fourth-fastest lap. Michael Schumacher has won this year's driving title but is hoping for his first win at Hockenheim since 1995 when he drove for Benetton. More than 120,000 fans are expected for Sunday's race.
