Russian cyclist Serguei Smetanine has won the 14th stage of the Tour of Spain, but Spaniard Oscar Sevilla remains the overall leader.
Smetanine of the Jazztel team won the 190-kilometer stage from Santander to Gijon in four hours, 17 minutes, 23 seconds.
Spain's Oscar Laguna was second, 1:57 minutes back with Italian Angelo Furlan third more than two-and-one-half minutes behind the Russian.
Sevilla remains the overall leader, one second ahead of countryman and Kelme teammate Aitor Gonzalez. U.S. Postal Service team rider Roberto Heras of Spain is in third place overall, 1:42 minutes behind Sevilla.
Sunday's 15th stage covers nearly 177 kilometers from Gijon to Alto de Langliru and ends with a a climb up the 1560 meter tall La Vega Riosa. The Tour ends next Sunday.
