Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo today kicked off his campaign for re-election. President Obasanjo rallied his supporters in Makurdi, the capital of north Benue State. He says if reelected he will work to improve the country’s agricultural sector. He also apologized to residents for the way the government handled ethnic violence in the region.
