Germany's Rainer Schuettler has upset world-number-one Andre Agassi to advance to the semifinals of the Montreal Masters men's tennis tournament in Canada.
Schuettler came from behind Friday to beat Agassi, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, in a rematch of this season's Australian Open final. The top-seeded American beat Schuettler in straight sets in January in Melbourne, Australia.
Agassi shrugged off reports he is being plagued by a hip problem, saying Schuettler outplayed him.
The eighth-seeded German next faces Argentina's David Nalbandian, who advanced to the semifinals with a straight-sets win over Feliciano Lopez 6-4, 6-4.
Wimbledon champion and third-seed Roger Federer of Switzerland will take on sixth-seed Andy Roddick of the United States in Saturday's other semifinal match.
