Police in the Czech Republic have detained 50 suspected Chinese immigrants after they were found hiding in a truck en route to Germany.
A police spokeswoman says the immigrants, including at least five women, will likely be placed in a Czech refugee camp. It is not clear if they will be returned to their home country.
In 2000 58 illegal Chinese immigrants suffocated in the back of a truck as they tried to enter Britain through the English Channel port of Dover.
