Angerer, Bjorgen Wins Classic Cross-Country Races in Kuusamo

Germany's Tobias Angerer and Marit Bjorgen of Norway have won men's and women's classic style cross-country skiing races in Kuusamo, Finland.

In the men's 15-kilometer race, Angerer won in 36:32.08 - 1.7 seconds ahead of Norway's Jens Arne Svartedal. Jens Filbrich of Germany was third, eight seconds behind the winner.

Norway's Tor Arne Hetland finished ninth, but retained the overall lead with 209 points.

In the women's 10-kilometer race, Bjorgen won her third race of the year in 26:33 seconds. Finland's Virpi Kuitunen was second, 29 seconds back, with German Claudia Kuenzel third. Bjorgen leads the overall standings with 300 points.
