Democratic Party presidential nominee John Kerry says in response to the latest videotape from al Qaida terrorist leader Osama bin-Laden that Americans are determined to hunt down and destroy him and his organization.
In an impromptu statement on the tarmac of the airport in West Palm Beach Florida, Senator Kerry told reporters Americans are united in their efforts to fight terrorism.
"In response to this tape of Osama bin-Laden let me just make it clear, crystal clear, as Americans we are absolutely united in our determination to hunt down and destroy Osama bin-Laden and the terrorists. They are barbarians," he said.
If elected president, Senator Kerry says he will stop at absolutely nothing to hunt down, capture or kill terrorists wherever they are and with whatever it takes.
Osama bin-Laden is believed to be the mastermind behind the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
The war on terrorism has been one of the most important issues in the U.S. presidential election between Senator Kerry and Republican President George Bush.
The bin-Laden tape was released just four days before the election.
