Kyrgyzstan's election commission has declared interim president Kurmanbek Bakiyev the winner of the nation's presidential vote.
The final statement from the commission shows that 88.71 percent of voters elected Mr. Bakiyev on July 10.
The commission will send the results to the Constitutional Court, which must issue a ruling within four days on the legitimacy of the vote.
Once the court rules, official election results can be published, making Mr. Bakiyev the president-elect.
