Strong Earthquake Rocks Northern Chile


A strong earthquake has rocked northern Chile, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake had a magnitude of 6.4 and struck 65 kilometers northwest of the town of Copiapo.

The earthquake was followed by two aftershocks.
