When an Active Shooter Starts … Every Second Counts in Saving Lives

It's one of the more terrifying strokes of bad luck, and if you're trapped in a building with an active shooter, the seconds between when the shooting starts and help arrives could mean the difference between life and death. VOA's Arash Arabasadi spent two days observing a new training program that aims to teach basic search and rescue to the men and women who may respond to an active shooter. He has this story from Sykevsille, Maryland.
