An Australian nurse has pleaded guilty to murder in an arson fire at a Sydney nursing home that killed 11 elderly residents.
Roger Dean also pleaded guilty in New South Wales state Supreme Court Monday to causing grievous bodily harm to another eight people injured in the 2011 blaze.
The 37-year-old Dean was a nurse at the facility when he set fire to the building. He has already pleaded guilty to stealing drugs from the home.
Dean will be sentenced at a later date.
